Alexander McQueen AW25 is the union of gothic poetry and meticulous in the modern age, dark glamour reinvented by sculptural cutting and ethereal craftsmanship.
Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2025 presentation was a breathtaking amalgamation of gothic beauty and avant-garde modernity. Guided by the innovative brilliance of Seán McGirr, the house remained true to its roots—dark, profound, and unapologetic in its innovative spirit.

The catwalk was a cathedral of darkness illuminated by crystal chandeliers. Models stalked in steel boned leather corsets, feather gowns, and carved black lace. Every silhouette met McQueen’s imperative: beauty is rebellion.

McGirr redefined gothic fashion with ironic subtlety—tulle over steel boning, silvery stitch on metallic sheen. It was a marriage of fragility and power, a record of excess taking the shape of art.

Companions to the imagination—elaborate chokers of good taste, sculpted boots, and metallic face veils that shimmer. The finale dress made from thousands of black rose petals brought gasps—a haunting masterpiece that signals rebirth.

McQueen’s Ethereal Edge demonstrated that darkness can be divine haute couture.
